“WHAT WOULD YOU ATTEMPT TO DO IF YOU KNEW THAT YOU COULD NOT FAIL?”
The above anonymous inscription appears on a bar of steel resting on Alan Tuttle’s coffee table. It is a constant reminder that if you believe in The Domiciles Project, if you believe in the art and joy of communication, and if you want to help, you cannot fail.
THIS IS YOUR INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE
ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE, AND IT CAN BE YOURS
Whether you are a nationally known writer, an amateur writer or a student, your contribution of a story, script, poem, song, choreography or work of visual art is welcomed. The opportunity to see your work on the world’s biggest stage before the world’s largest audience begins with you.
Welcome Participants! You are the most important and exciting aspect of this project. The doors are not complete without your responses to them--your stories, your pictures, your performing arts creations. Submit your Story, Artwork, Photographic or Videographic Response below. Here’s how to get started.
Register by entering your personal information. (We will not share your contact information.) Then cut and paste/upload your work. Be sure to give your response submission a title. You can cut and paste your text into the Story/Submission box. If you have embellished the document with artwork you may submit an additional image of that page under “Upload Image of your Artwork”. If yours is a Visual Arts Response Submission, upload an image of your Response Submission and provide a brief description or explanation of the work you have created in the “Story/Response Submission” area. If your Response Submission is in the category of Performing Arts create an edited video, post it to YouTube, and input the URL for the YouTube page.

Navigate to the door which has inspired your story or creative response. After you've logged in, the form will appear at the bottom of each door page in which you may submit your story or creative response.
Note that your Response Submissions should not be descriptions of the doors or the artwork appearing on them. But rather, your vision or interpretation of the imagined life or lives that may have been lived on the other side of the door.
Note: We will not share your contact information. We will occasionally notify you of new doors, new works by the artist, selected notable Response Submissions, and updates on current and future exhibit venues/ Domiciles Projects.

IT’S YOUR MOVE…Please Donate Now
Spread the spirit of communication—one of mankind’s most basic needs and that which distinguishes us as members of the human race. There are many opportunities for sponsorship and donors at all levels. It takes teamwork and as The Domiciles Project grows it will take an even larger team. Presently all funding is being borne by Domiciles creator, Alan B. Tuttle. He has provided not only the doors upon which his inspirational skill as an artist is manifest, but the crating, transport and set up of these sizeable objects along with extensive publicity for the program and it’s showcase pilots. Donations of services or sponsorships from trucking and moving companies, private corporations, educational institutions and foundations, advertising agencies and private benefactors are now available.
No compensation is being paid to the Artist. Your financial contributions, less 3% administrative fee paid to the Rehoboth Art League, go entirely to the expenses of this project.

SHOP THE DOMICILES PROJECT STORE
The Domiciles Project will soon offer a few clever promotional products for you to wear or display. Two examples currently in the works are T-shirts featuring our logo, and life size vinyl reproductions of the doors by the “Fathead” company. These can be easily applied and removed from your classroom walls. Proceeds from the sale of these products will support and help to sustain the project, which in turn will continue to benefit all those involved in teaching the creative process.
