EXPLORATORY
As a class, we will review the qualities of a really good monologue.
DISCOVERY
- Students will be introduced to The Domiciles Project.
- The Task: Students will use the door art as inspiration for writing their own 1 to 3-minute monologue.
The Process:
- Students will view the doors displayed in our school by artist, Alan Tuttle.
- On the first day, they will observe their door, noting possible characters, voices, points of view, tones, stories to tell.
- They will take notes home and write the 1 to 3-minute monologue.
