I was running through the forest looking for a place to hide and rest. I needed a place fast because the trees were watching me. Their eyes gazed at me. After running for a while I found a cabin but it was padlocked so I saw a hole in the roof and used wood to climb up to the roof. After climbing through the roof, I found a cabin that was used for hunting and there was a map of the area and some supplies to last a week for me. I rested for a while and when I woke up the trees were still watching the cabin. Something was strange though. Half the trees didn't have eyes anymore. Taking the advantage I grabbed the supplies and darted out the door. I had the map with me and went to the direction of a city. I slinked out of the forest and for some reason the trees were focused on something else, probably another person like me that got lost on the trail. I made it back to the city and caught a ride home. After resting and eating I thought about the forest. Maybe it was looking for someone in particular or maybe it's ever watching; nobody will ever know. I will go back one day, but not for a while.
