So much to do. So much accomplished, yet still so much to do. The papers neatly stacked by the desk, notes made for everything that must be done. Pencils sharpened, ready for more notes. Everything is in order at home. Not so much outside.
The West Rose Garden needs order. Each blade must be perfect. Each bloom must be in its proper place. Why can’t the outside world be like home? Grey and orderly? So much color and disorder to be tamed.
It’s alright. The day is long and I’ve already done so much. Yet still so much to do.
