When I’m in my garden, I feel at home. I feel more at home in my garden than in my actual home. In fact, I’ve made many attempts to make me home like my garden, but it never feels the same. I don’t relate to people the way I do to plants. People, possessions, tangible belongings hold too many memories. They are scarred and traumatized by their past, and they stay that way. Plants however, are always renewed. They may become broken or damaged, but they grow back as if nothing ever happened. No painful memories. Plants can be like people too. They need love and adoration. They need to be cared for, and when they are neglected, they wilt and die…just like people. Wouldn’t it be interesting to be a plant? I think I would enjoy that very much. Yes, I would like that very much…
